About

The BRASIL ECO FASHION WEEK - BEFW is one of the annual initiatives of the Brasil Eco Fashion Platform. As a pioneering event since 2017, it is free and open to the public, featuring thematic spaces and educational and inspirational content, including fashion shows, workshops, showrooms, business matchmaking sessions, sensory experiences, exhibitions, interactive activities, and entrepreneurship programs.

The event brings together discussions and experiences related to organic cultivation, material certifications, conscious consumption, Amazonian fashion, biodesign, upcycling techniques, textile recycling, business models for circular and collaborative fashion, transparency practices, diversity, activism, inclusion, fair trade, as well as innovation and technologies that support sustainability.

Applications for the brand showroom and fashion show line-up are selected through open calls and curated according to sustainability-based criteria and attributes.

The BRASIL ECO FASHION WEEK - BEFW is an initiative that integrates the Brazilian Sustainable Fashion Ecosystem.
