Handweaving and Textile Design Training: Courses for Adults, Children, and Companies

Based in Pisa, Tuscany, our atelier is a recognized "Bottega Scuola" (School Workshop) led by Master Artisan Laura de Cesare. We firmly believe in research, education, and the transmission of knowledge as the foundations of high-quality artistic craftsmanship. Our laboratory is a creative hub where textile structures generate ideas, and ideas transform into unique woven projects, blending traditional Italian heritage with contemporary design logic.
We provide individual and collective training paths with direct, hands-on practice on manual looms, meticulously structured for different targets:

• Adults, Professionals & Enthusiasts: Comprehensive courses ranging from quick introductory experiences to full-scale technical training. Programs cover the study and execution of fundamental weaves (plain weave, twill, satin) as well as complex textile structural design.

• Companies & Teams (Corporate Training & Team Building): Tailored workshops and experiential paths designed for businesses. Through the slow, rhythmic, and collaborative process of handweaving, we foster teamwork, creative problem-solving, mindfulness, and corporate cohesion.

• Children & Schools: Educational, creative, and sensory-driven laboratories tailored for young learners (from kindergarten up). These workshops focus on developing manual skills, exploring color interplay, and connecting children with traditional craftsmanship in a playful way.

• Cultural & Experiential Tourism: Bespoke, short-term workshops (ranging from a few hours to a full week) that combine practical loom weaving with the fascinating history and storytelling of Tuscan and Italian textile traditions.
