He studied Advanced 3D Production at the Media Design School in Auckland, New Zealand, where he collaborated on a short CG film with professor James Cunningham. During his studies, Sergej’s work was featured in Autodesk’s “Fake or Foto”, published by Chaos Group, and received the Autodesk Best Render Award in 2011.
After returning to Europe, Sergej founded Tronog, initially focusing on high-end automotive and technical visualizations. The company later expanded into fashion tech, collaborating with many top textile and automoto brands such as Hugo Boss, Mammut, Eton, J. Hilburn, and Lucid Motors.
His work has been featured in 3D World Magazine, Texprocess / World of Digital Fashion, and Foundry Software tutorials. Sergej also shared his expertise as a lecturer at the SAE Institute Ljubljana.
A key collaboration includes working with the TAL Group (Hong Kong) to develop configurator components and AI-powered solutions that optimize made-to-measure production processes for fashion brands.
In recent years, Sergej has focused on expanding Tronog’s technical capabilities, bridging 3D visualization with production logic—and delivering customized solutions that help brands streamline operations and enhance user experiences.
