From Snack Waste to Value: Circular Valorisation of Frit Ravich Co-products and By-products

Innovation Strategy at Frit Ravich

Barcelona, Spain

About

Frit Ravich is looking for innovative, scalable solutions to valorise the co-products and by-products generated in our snack and nuts production lines (e.g. potato starch, peels, toasted and broken chips, popcorn sievings, small nut fragments, sludges and used frying oils). Today, these streams mostly represent a cost and an under-used resource of around 2,500 tonnes per year. We seek technologies, ingredients, processes, or business models that can transform these materials into new food, feed, bio-based materials or energy solutions, aligned with circular economy principles and EU regulations, and that can be validated through pilots in an industrial environment.
