AI-Powered Technology Intelligence for Industrial R&D Teams
CEO & Co-Founder at Wicely
Parets del Vallès, Spain
About
R&D teams at industrial companies are drowning in information but starved of conclusions. Technology surveillance is still largely manual: engineers spend hours across patent databases, scientific journals and industry news to produce summaries that arrive late, read generic, or sit disconnected from actual business priorities.
Wicely is an autonomous AI R&D analyst. You describe a business line in plain language; Wicely proposes the technology map and takes over the watching. Nobody operates it: your experts review conclusions instead of running searches.
What Wicely does:
- Builds a living technology map for each business line: 10 to 25 current and emerging technology domains relevant to your specific products and processes
- Continuously reads patents, scientific papers, industry news and competitor activity across languages (sources in any language, reports in your language)
- Delivers a weekly report per business line: executive summary, conclusions and action points, with every finding scored for relevance and linked to its original source
- Adapts each report to three reading lenses, so a technical expert, an innovation director and a general manager read the same evidence from their own angle
- Grows a knowledge graph from every finding, surfacing slow-building signals across thousands of findings over time (a competitor's patent cluster forming, a technology accelerating) that no single search could reveal
On the roadmap: competitive, regulatory and standards vigilance, plus supplier and startup ecosystem monitoring, in the same business-line-aware intelligence layer.
Who it's for: heads of R&D, innovation directors and technology analysts at product-developing companies in industrial equipment, machinery, chemicals and materials, automotive, and energy.
Why it's different: legacy monitoring platforms sell you a keyword-configured search tool, and your team still does the analyst work. Wicely delivers the conclusion. In production today with industrial clients; 1st prize winner, INDPULS AI Adoption Program 2026.
What we're looking for: 30 minutes with an R&D or innovation leader. Bring one business line; we'll show you what a week of Wicely looks like on it.
