Predictive Intelligence

for Industrial Standards and Operational Obligations

Amendize is an intelligence engine for industrial standards forecasting. It tracks the codes and standards that govern your industry — decisions that change months before binding law catches up — and forecasts which of your operational documents will need to change before the new rules take effect.

The Cost of Late Response

By the time a regulation is in force, the cheap options are gone. What remains is reactive compliance — structurally more expensive than the planned version of the same work. The cost runs into six figures across operational categories:

  • Rush-rate regulatory counsel. €500–800/hr emergency engagements versus planned work.

  • Emergency reformulations. Weeks of R&D time, scrapped inventory, accelerated supplier qualification.

  • Product recalls. €1M+ floor, even for limited SKUs.

  • Port State Control detentions. €15K–€50K per day, off-hire compounding.

  • Lost market access during recertification gaps. Orders lost while CE marking is in transition under CPR or Eurocode revisions.

  • REACH non-compliance fines. €50K–€500K per substance per market.

Amendize converts that cost into months of scheduled planning. With six months of lead time, your team chooses between reformulation, substitution, market exit, or transition negotiation with downstream customers. With zero lead time, you take the most expensive of those options by default.

How It Works

1

Forecast

Amendize reads decisions made at the international and European standards bodies that govern your industry — committee votes, scientific opinions, draft amendments — and maps each one forward through its cascade into EU and national law. The output is a forecast of which standards and obligations will change, and on what timeline — typically 4–9 months ahead of the binding cascade.

2

Intersect

The forecast is compared against your current operational position: which substances sit in your formulations, which procedures sit in your manuals, which products sit on your declarations. This step runs locally. Your proprietary data never leaves your infrastructure.

3

Plan

Amendize produces specific, ready-to-execute updates: the section text, the substance entries, the procedural changes your team will action when the cascade lands. Standards change becomes a planning input on a calendar — not an emergency on a deadline.

Industry Coverage

Maritime

When IMO MSC approves an amendment to SOLAS Chapter II-2, Amendize delivers draft revisions to the affected sections of your SMS within 14 days — typically 6–9 months before the amendment enters into force on flag-state ships.

Chemical

When ECHA’s Risk Assessment Committee adopts an opinion on a new SVHC, Amendize identifies which of your formulations contain the substance and drafts the updated SDS Section 2 and 15 entries — months before the substance is added to the Candidate List.

Eurocodes

When CEN TC 250 amends a Eurocode part or publishes a new generation, Amendize identifies affected calculation sheets across your National Annex jurisdictions and drafts updated design parameters — months before the revised standard is cited in national building regulations.
