Spedball Ltd is a Manchester-based sports innovation company developing Spedball®, a new sporting discipline built around proprietary sporting hardware, its own rules and a zero-player-to-player-contact gameplay model.
Spedball has progressed through multiple generations of design, physical prototyping and real-world player testing. The core objective is simple: capture the ball from the back of the player before they reach the end zone.
The company is now entering its next stage of development, combining the established physical sporting concept with intelligent sensing, embedded electronics and connected technology. The aim is to capture meaningful gameplay interactions and ultimately enable performance data, player statistics, coaching insights and enhanced competition experiences.
Spedball Ltd is currently focused on further product development, technology integration, scalable manufacturing, structured player testing and commercialisation.
