Innovate UK Business Connect has established a national Accessible and Inclusive Transport Programme to support the development, deployment and adoption of solutions that reduce barriers to travel. As part of this programme, we are building a network of organisations working to transform transport, impact lives and drive UK growth by helping everyone make the journeys they need.

This platform aims to support collaboration and partnerships across the transport ecosystem, bringing together innovators, experts, operators, charities and other organisations working to reduce and remove barriers to travel. It is designed for: 

• Businesses developing accessible and inclusive transport solutions  

• Transport authorities and operators 

• Disabled People’s Organisations, charities, interest groups and campaigners 

• Public sector organisations, local authorities and delivery partners  

• Universities and research organisations 

• Organisations with routes to commercialisation, deployment or end use
