Jesus Sayols

Jesús Sayols leads the translation technologies area at Amnesty International’s Language Resource Centre, where he also serves as a linguist and translator. He is a member of Amnesty International's Generative-Artificial Intelligence Coordinating Committee. Jesús holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting, a degree in Chinese Studies, and a postgraduate degree in Translation Technology. Additionally, he has earned two PhDs in Translation Studies (from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Hong Kong Baptist University). He has also taught translation and translation technologies at various universities and has extensive experience as a professional translator and translation operations manager in both public institutions and private industry.
