Lucien Gazi

I was born in Cameroon, and navigated my way to becoming a Senior Director in the field of Clinical Trials in Novartis Pharmaceuticals, Basel, Switzerland. The path was not easy and I learned a lot. In fact, after completing a Master and a PhD in Pharmacology, I started my career in Biotech Companies in UK and France, before moving to Basel, Switzerland. Overall, I have spent more than 20 years in Biopharma environment. I am now driven by the passion of building scientific and clinical trial capacity in low and middle income countries, naturally starting with Sub-Saharan Africa.
