Unipel was founded in 1983 and initially focused on creating sample collections and producing goods for various Italian brands and foreign companies. Over the years, the company decided to place greater emphasis on “Made in Italy” and artisanal craftsmanship, shifting its focus slightly: no longer large quantities, but greater attention to the product, its quality, and its beauty as well as its functionality. This led to the creation of the Bamafashion brand, with a stronger focus on product customization and uniqueness. Items that hadn’t been produced in years were brought back into production, allowing for greater creativity—from leather bags to those made from recycled materials, belts featuring trendy materials, and even dog leash lines for various small brands. We handle everything from the finished product to the design phase, including pattern making and prototyping. Over the years, we’ve also experimented with creating promotional items made of leather and natural materials (wood fiber, cork, apple peel) for corporate events.
