Executive Summary & The 10-Year Milestone

The Global Sustainable Fashion Week (#GSFW), founded by the National Fashion League Hungary in 2015, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary Milestone in 2026. Over the past decade, GSFW has established itself as Central Europe's most significant and powerful sustainable fashion event and platform. It serves as a unique global hub where professional industry stakeholders, academic researchers, and the general public seamlessly converge.

The 10th Anniversary Concept: Synthesis of Heritage & High-Tech Innovation

Every year, GSFW addresses core sustainability pillars. The 10th Jubilee represents a complete, grand synthesis of the past decade's concepts. The 2026 program is designed to bridge the entire spectrum of ethical fashion: from the preservation of cultural heritage, craftsmanship, and local values—with active contributions from designers and experts representing all continents—all the way to cutting-edge technological advancements and advanced digital solutions.

To elevate the commercial, technological, and legal security impacts of this Jubilee year, GSFW is integrating a dedicated Online International B2B Matchmaking Program at the beginning of the event week (14–16 September). Organized in strategic cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), this business track aims to foster cross-border commercial, technological, and research partnerships.

This specialized digital platform is dedicated exclusively to facilitating structured, 1-on-1 commercial matchings, international cross-border trade agreements, and technology transfers within the sustainable fashion, textile manufacturing, circular economy, and digital retail software sectors.

Expanded Strategic Focus: Digitalization, Cybersecurity & IP

As the fashion and textile industry undergoes a massive twin transition (green and digital), the 10th GSFW places a heavy emphasis on advanced technological and corporate security challenges within the online B2B matchmaking and conference tracks:

  • Textile & Fashion Sustainable Solutions: Circular economy models, ethical fashion practices, and sustainable production—bridging the gap from cultural heritage and traditional craftsmanship to high-tech innovations.

  • Digitalization in Fashion: Digital Product Passports (DPP), AI-driven supply chains, 3D clothing design, and smart textiles.

  • Cybersecurity: Securing global supply chain data, protecting e-commerce infrastructure, and data privacy in international fashion retail.

  • Intellectual Property (IP) Rights: Protecting sustainable design innovations, anti-counterfeiting in the circular economy, and managing digital fashion assets (NFTs/metaverse IP).

Who Should Register: Target Audience & Marketplace Categories

To ensure high-quality matchmaking on the official EEN platform, participants will be categorized into the following distinct professional roles:

  • Buyers / Retailers / Investors: Showroom owners, international fashion buyers, eco-conscious e-commerce procurers, and sustainable venture funds.

  • Brands / Sustainable Suppliers: Ethical fashion designers, eco-textile manufacturers, upcycled materials suppliers, and circular production facilities.

  • Tech & Digital Providers: Companies offering AI supply chain software, Digital Product Passports (DPP) solutions, 3D modeling, cybersecurity architectures, and IT solutions for retail.

  • IP & Legal Experts: Specialists in patenting sustainable textile innovations, fashion brand protection, and intellectual property management.

  • R&D / Academia: University researchers, PhD candidates, and technology developers focusing on textile recycling, innovative bio-materials, and digital tech integrations.
