AMINA FAHAM

Amina is a passionate senior executive with several years of experience in leadership positions,

generating business growth through building highly performing cross disciplinary scientific

teams, spearheading strategic innovation, and delivering patient-centric solutions.

Amina holds a Ph.D. degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with over 20 years of healthcare industry

experience and has worked for several pharmaceutical and excipients companies. She offers an

array of skills in patient-centric thinking, people leadership, strengthening and evolving

competitive business landscape and building & implementing strategic innovation.

Amina started as Research & Development (R&D) leader at Ethypharm, where she was

responsible for developing new technologies in modified release oral solid dosage forms, and

then joined Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as R&D Principal Scientist. Since joining Pharma Solutions at

DOW Switzerland in 2011, Amina has held roles of increasing responsibility starting as pharma

application development leader for EMEA, and she then moved into leadership roles within R&D

and commercial organizations. Through the DuPont and IFF mergers in 2018 & 2021 respectively,

Amina played an integral role in building a strong market-face scientific team from all legacy

businesses to ensure business continuity and talent retention. Since August 2025, Amina is

heading the global Research & Development Pharma at Fresenius-Kabi.

For several years, Amina has been an engaged thought leader and business advocate in the

market. She was a board member and then the board president of the International

Pharmaceutical Excipients Council in Europe from 2013 to 2025, and a lecturer at Zurich Federal

Institute of Technology (ETH) since 2013.

Amina is also deeply committed to diversity and inclusion, mentoring the next generation of

leaders and innovators, and advocating for inclusive workplaces. Having lived and worked across

multiple continents, she brings a rich, multicultural perspective to global business leadership.
