Über mich
Dr. Marcus Hennecke earned a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from TU Darmstadt (1991), an MS in Neural Networks from Stanford (1992), and a PhD (1996). His expertise spans neural networks, pattern recognition, image processing, and concept development in microelectronics. Before Infineon, he held research and leadership roles across the Daimler-Benz group (Research Center, Aerospace), TEMIC Telefunken, Harman Becker, and Siemens (heading Pattern Recognition & Image Processing), followed by department leadership at EFKON. Since 2016, he has led the Concept Engineering department at Infineon Technologies; since 2018, he has been responsible for innovation and funding management in Sense & Control. He has initiated and led numerous national and European research projects and is the (co-)author of many publications and patents, focusing on translating AI and microelectronics into practical, scalable solutions.
