My name is Katie and last year my family opened a Finnish-style sauna in my home town of Portland, Oregon, USA.

Prior to launching our sauna spot, I was an elementary school teacher and mom of two young kids at home. Sauna helped me navigate the early days of motherhood, helped me find peace and navigate through uncharted waters. Sauna has been a constant that brings me back to life.

We created SaunaGlo with the intention of creating a space that was affordable, accessible and community focused. We wanted a place where families could come, friends could meet, individuals could reset and recharge. We are all ages and open to all. 

We are constantly looking for ways to engage in our community and support the growth of our neighborhood. SaunaGlo has helped us to connect and introduce the practice of Finnish sauna to individuals across the Pacific Northwest.
