Ramy Copty

Ramy Copty is a blockchain enthusiast and FinTech veteran with over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Throughout his career, he has specialised in the development of financial products, brokerage services, trading strategies, automated trading systems, trading platforms, and risk management tools. In recent years, his focus has shifted exclusively to digital assets, payment applications, exchange platforms, and blockchain-based solutions across both financial and non-financial sectors.

Raised in an international environment, Ramy studied English Literature, Communication Science, and Asian Art History, initially aiming for a career as an art dealer and auctioneer. His growing interest in financial markets — the "greatest auction house of our times" — eventually led him to the finance industry. Working for subsidiaries of major financial institutions, he played a key role in introducing Contracts for Difference (CFDs) to Austria and was among the first to conduct trading seminars in the German-speaking region. His work organising live trading events and competitions helped him build a broad and influential network of international traders, partners, and customers.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Ramy is a passionate music lover and drummer who enjoys cycling, reading, and beach walks. He appreciates all genres of music, with a particular love for electro, funk, drum & bass, and chill-hop. A strong communicator and good listener, Ramy values courage, creativity, and determination, and thrives on exchanging ideas and learning from others.
