SASASA

SASASA is a Korean sauna creative collective and lifestyle brand dedicated to reimagining and expanding Korea’s rich sauna culture.

For generations, Korean people have grown up with jjimjilbangs (Korean sauna spas), mokyoktangs (public bathhouses), and bulhanjeungmaks (traditional Korean kiln saunas) as essential spaces for rest, recovery, and community. Yet despite its deep cultural roots and widespread familiarity, the Korean sauna industry has remained largely unchanged for decades.

SASASA was founded to explore what contemporary Korean sauna culture can become. We reinterpret traditional Korean sauna experiences through a modern lens, combining design, technology, wellness, nature, and storytelling to create new ways of experiencing recovery and connection.

We see sauna not simply as a facility, but as a cultural platform that brings together space, experience, and community. Through projects ranging from immersive sauna programs and wellness events to mobile concepts such as SAUNABUS™, we are working to transform sauna into a desirable lifestyle and cultural experience.

Alongside developing our own experiences and content, we actively seek collaborations with global sauna operators, wellness brands, designers, educators, researchers, and manufacturers. Our goal is to connect Korean sauna culture with the international sauna movement while introducing innovative global sauna products, knowledge, and practices to Korea.
