Secretaría Distrital de Salud de Bogotá

The Bogotá District Health Secretariat (Secretaría Distrital de Salud) is the public authority responsible for leading, regulating, and coordinating the health system in Bogotá, a city of more than eight million inhabitants. It designs and implements public health policies, oversees health promotion and disease prevention programs, strengthens epidemiological surveillance and emergency preparedness, and works to improve equitable access to quality health services. The Secretariat also leads intersectoral initiatives addressing social determinants of health, digital innovation, immunization, environmental health, and resilient urban health systems.
