The Catalan Health Institute Girona manages the University Hospital of Girona Dr. Josep Trueta, the most important of the demarcation and reference, 26 primary care teams (EAP) and a penitentiary primary care team. The ICS Girona has advanced diagnostic and therapeutic means and follows a policy that is committed to teaching and research. Its objective is to adapt to the changing needs of the population in order to achieve a continuous improvement in the quality of care.
