mu-Drop BV

mu-Drop has developed unique technology to manufacture and dispense micro-drops. The first application has been co-developed with Sanquin, the Dutch blood bank to focus on serum eye drops to treat severe dry eye disease. This was a long journey culminating in clinical trials in 2023 and approval for the Netherlands. The business model is supply of equipment and consumables. There is significant and growing interest in the solution in more than 12 countries. We expect to ship in volume in Q3 next year but first need to raise funds and build production capacity.
