My organisation
Region Östergötland is the main health care provider in Östergötland county with approximately 14,000 employees, 12,500 of which in healthcare. Three hospitals and 47 public and private local health care centres are provided for the general population, as well as 40 public dental clinics. The University Hospital in Linköping serves the southeastern part of Sweden with 1.2 million inhabitants.
Our mission is to provide excellent care to all our inhabitants. We collaborate closely with Linköping University, one of Sweden´s leading research institutes in healthcare, life science and education.
About me
I have worked in Swedish healthcare for more than 25 years. I have a background as an occupational therapist but in recent years have worked with development and innovation issues. Learning from each other, both nationally and internationally, are important issues for me.
I support healthcare with innovations and innovative working methods. I am also in the project management for the Siish project, which is a national project that works for a faster implementation of innovations in Swedish healthcare.
