09:30 Guided tour of the Pont du Gard

A masterpiece of ancient architecture and one of the best-preserved Roman remains in the world. Explore 2,000 years of history with private and exclusive access to the canal on the 3rd level of the bridge.

11.30 a.m. Then, Roman wine tasting: A true taste discovery, Roman wine, the product of an ancestral tradition, will surprise you with its richness and aromas, a far cry from traditional French wines. This is the unusual experience we offer you at the restaurant ‘Les Terrasses’ facing the Pont du Gard.

12:15 Lunch at Les Terrasses restaurant, ideally located opposite the majestic aqueduct.

2:00 pm Departure for Nîmes.

2:45 pm Meet your guide in front of the main entrance to the Jardins de la Fontaine, built in the 18th century around the ancient Roman sanctuary and considered one of the most beautiful public gardens in Europe.

3:15 pm Technical tour of the Maison Albar Imperator hotel, one of the city's most emblematic 5* hotels.

3:45 pm Continuation of the tour, with a stop at Place de la Maison Carrée, an exceptionally well-preserved 1st-century Roman temple that will be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2023.

Guided tour of the historic center, with its squares, fountains, facades and courtyards of private mansions...

5:00 pm Technical tour of the Hotel Margaret Chouleur, an elegant 4* boutique hotel in the heart of the city.

5:30 pm Visit to the Arènes de Nîmes (by torchlight – to be confirmed), built at the end of the 1st century AD and the best-preserved amphitheatre of the Roman era (to be confirmed if later closing date granted).

6 :15pm End of visit and walk over to hotel.

7:30pm Departure for the evening venue “Stars on your plate”

Return to hotel and overnight stay.
