LA TORRE DI CASTEL ROCCHERO

Castel Rocchero, the castle on the rock in fact, since the time when it was an ancient Roman military camp, it controlled and defended its territory and its most valuable asset: the vineyards and his crops.
This historical and methodical cultivation has finally been recognized worldwide with the entry of these hills in the buffer area protecting the six original sites belonging from May 2014 to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. A tower as a bulkwark, a symbol of presence and a lookout and refernce point in the whole Monferrato. Its shape is unmistakable as its lure: planted in between the vineyards, bumps and ridges designed by vines and grapes of Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato,Brachetto and more. Finisched to build in 1956 behind the design by the oenologist Emilio Sernagiotto, it is one of the last three Vinery Towers still existing in Italy. The newly built and wine tower-inspired Crystallina gives an immersive experience among the rows of vines, feeling a unique and unfotgettable contact with nature. Its two-level structure offers on the grounf floor our Wine shop offering not only wines but also excellences oh the territory. On the firs floor a hall and a panoramic terrace where we host events and you can enjoy a glass og wine while admiring an amphitheater of vineyards.
