Design of Vertiports and Aerial Corridors
Technical Product Owner- Weather and Climate Specialist at DM-AirTech
Hamburg, Germany
About
We support the design and optimization of vertiports and aerial corridors by combining expertise in aerodynamics, wind engineering, and weather analysis.
For vertiports, we assess wind, gusts, turbulence, and local flow conditions around the Final Approach and Take-Off area (FATO) to validate site suitability and identify opportunities to improve the design. These insights can help increase operability, safety, passenger comfort, and energy efficiency while reducing weather-related constraints.
For aerial corridors, we analyze weather exposure and local wind conditions to identify more resilient and efficient connections between mobility hubs.
Our tools and engineering expertise can be integrated into architectural and engineering workflows, providing practical design guidelines, location validation, and detailed flow analysis to support better infrastructure decisions from feasibility through detailed design.
