Frédéric Grondin

I'm a full professor at Ecole Centrale de Nantes since 2016. I was associate professor between 2006 and 2016 after obtaining my PhD in 2005 at Sorbonne University. Since 2022 I'm the director of the doctoral school SIS in Région Pays de la Loire. I do my research in mechanics for civil engineering in the Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering and I'm the co-responsible of the research team Green Engineering Approaches. Since many years I work on the development of new experimental protocols and multiscale numerical models for the analysis of imerged structures into the sea with the objective to propose the best materials at the best place in the structure.
