About me
Dr. Monsó has a PhD. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Port and Coastal Engineering. He was founder, CEO and Technical Director of the company INHA (Applied Hydrodynamics Institute), a renowned private hydraulic laboratory for numerical and physical model tests for ports, specialized in providing consultancy and technical services in port and coastal engineering. He is also currently part time Professor of Port Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Barcelona, since 1981.
Over his more than 40 years of professional career, Dr. Monso has gained extensive experience as an executive manager in consulting engineering firms. He has also participated in a great number of important projects related to maritime and port infrastructures and has an extensive background in research at a national and international level. It is important to note his link with several National and International Port Authorities, Civil Engineering Companies, Construction Companies and Energy Companies.
