Progresja S.A. specializes in Additive Manufacturing (LPBF) services for the aerospace, aviation, and chemical industries. The company offers comprehensive post-processing capabilities - including CNC machining, EDM, HIP, welding, PVD, and heat treatment - as well as advanced quality control techniques such as SEM, CT, CMM, EBSD, mechanical testing, and space-specific evaluations (e.g., outgassing and helium leak testing). The team includes three PhD-level experts in additive manufacturing.
Progresja’s dedicated subsidiary, Progresja New Materials has developed a proprietary technology for converting solid-state titanium scrap into spherical powders suitable for LPBF.
Projects and Expertise:
ESA Projects:
o Study on metal parts additive manufacturing in simulated space conditions
o Development of metal Selective Laser Melting technology for microgravity environments using colloid-like feedstock
(project budgets: €200k and €175k respectively)
• Upcoming ESA projects:
o Complex shape additively manufactured heat pipes
o Advanced manufacturing of the thrust chamber for nitrous oxide-based propulsion
• M-ERA.NET Projects:
o Powder feedstock production and 3D printing of refractory metals and alloys for aerospace applications
o Additive manufacturing and projected parts using recycled powder from scraps
• National R&D Projects (budget: €1.2–1.3M), executed by Progresja New Materials:
o Development and optimization of a powder production process for additive manufacturing technologies using production waste as feedstock
o Modified light alloy powders as a new feedstock for additive manufacturing technologies
These projects are now forming the basis of the Progresja R&D Team.
• Delivery of AM parts for propulsion systems and chemical process environments
