The Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences (CBK PAN) is an interdisciplinary scientific institute, operating within the Third Department of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Established by a decision of the Polish Academy of Sciences on September 29, 1976, it began operations on April 1, 1977. CBK PAN is headquartered in Warsaw, but the institute has branches in Wroclaw, Borowiec and Zielona Gora.
