CENAERO

CENAERO (private, non-profit) is an applied research centre located in Gosselies, Belgium. Its ambition is to drive innovation in the industry based on advanced methodologies and tools in the field of numerical simulation, optimisation and data analytics. CENAERO counts more than 80 highly skilled engineers and PhDs specialised in numerical methods, materials, structures and manufacturing processes modelling, computational fluid dynamics, physics and applied mathematics.

Mainly active in the aerospace industry, CENAERO is also diversified in manufacturing and process industry, as well as energy and built environment.

CENAERO cooperates with both regional SMEs and internation companies (e.g. SAFRAN group) through direct contracts and collaborative research programs at the Regional and European scales. In that sense, CENAERO is strongly involved in EU projects as partner or coordinator (Horizon Europe, EuroHPC, Era-Net, Interreg).

CENAERO is the operator of the Regional Tier-1 High Performance Computing facilities (LUCIA).
