Creator, writer and director Kirby Atkins will share how he decides which ideas have enough potential to justify the long journey of development, drawing on his recent experience with Levity Jones and Out of Ashes, which was selected for the Black List / NBCUniversal fellowship last April.

Kirby will then choose one or two projects or ideas from around the table to dig into as a group, looking at what makes an idea worth pursuing, what questions a creator should be asking early on, and where to invest your creative energy.
