Franco-German Chamber of Commerce & Industry

The French-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK France) is the official organization promoting and supporting economic relations, mainly between France and Germany. As part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs), it helps companies from both countries develop their business activities across borders.

Its main activities include:

• Market entry support: Advising companies on entering the French or German market, including market studies, partner searches, and business development services, Interims Sale and M&A.

• Publicly funded business development projects: Managing and implementing numerous projects financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE). These initiatives support German SMEs in identifying international business opportunities, establishing market presence abroad, and developing partnerships in strategic sectors through market exploration programs, business delegations, expert information events, and networking activities.

• Business networking: Organizing conferences, trade missions, networking events, and sector-specific meetings to connect companies and decision-makers from both countries.

• Consulting services: Providing expertise on legal, tax, HR, regulatory, and intercultural issues related to doing business in France and Germany.

• Recruitment and training: Assisting companies in finding qualified staff and promoting vocational training and workforce development initiatives.
