Somel is a Slovenian engineering team providing complete R&D outsourcing across three disciplines: electronics, software, and mechanics. Three disciplines, one team — we take a technical challenge from first idea or feasibility study through to a working, tested prototype.

What we do:

• Electronics — circuit and PCB design, embedded systems, firmware, hardware prototyping and integration

• Software — embedded software, control systems, desktop and cloud applications, data acquisition

• Mechanical — 3D design and CAD, structural analysis, enclosures, mechanical integration, manufacturing-ready documentation

You bring as much as you have — a finished specification, or only an idea. Where the requirements are not yet defined, we define them together with you. Every project ends with a prototype that has been built, measured and debugged, and all intellectual property stays on your side.

Because all three disciplines sit in one team, development moves faster and with fewer handovers between suppliers. We work with companies across a wide range of industries, from agriculture and food to health and semiconductors.
