By using a two-component ferrule combined with the patented Active Core Alignment process, the E-2000® achieves outstanding optical values and forms the basis of DIAMOND's housing technology in the telecommunications market. Furthermore, DIAMOND has a process for manufacturing ultra-low-loss (ULL) connectors with insertion loss values in the range of today's technically feasible measurement uncertainty.
