XR Showcase: Present and Train Inside Your Machines, Together

The XR Showcase puts your machine into a mixed reality people can share. A sales engineer and a customer walk around it at full size, at the same time, from different places. A trainer and a group of apprentices take an assembly apart and put it back, as often as they need, while the real machine keeps producing. When something breaks, the technician on site and the expert elsewhere meet in the same model and point at the same part. Everyone joins on the device they happen to have: in a browser, on a tablet or laptop, or fully immersed in an untethered XR headset.

Sharing perspectives is what the system is built for, not a feature added to a viewer.

It stays light. No render server is needed, and standard WiFi carries a session. The hardware fits in your carry-on. Models of a hundred million triangles and more run on a standalone headset, streamed and cached as people move through them. What makes that possible is GLoD, our geometry-streaming format. Once your CAD data or 3D scans are converted, the model can sit on any ordinary web server.
