Hofmeister s.r.o. is a family owned company, with the tradition of 30 years on the market. It has more than 10 years of experience supported by cooperation with research organizations and by developing its own know-how (patents).

It has its own multi-axis UKP laser systems (picosecond, femtosecond) for R&D activities and small series production incl. measuring technology. The company´s competence covers cooperation in interdisciplinary fields – medical, microelectronic, optics, machining, biological.

Application potential of laser subtractive micro-technologies of the company can be divided into 3 groups:

1. Functional surfaces of macro/micro components, coatings and their removal or treatment

2. 3D entities on macro components

3. 3D microparts

Applications of laser micro technology include optical applications, biological applications, cutting tools applications, medical and cryptography applications.

The company is actively seeking a strategic business partner that would bring market and partial financing in the areas of:

 -         Laser treatment of special cutting/shaping tools

-         Micro structuring of surfaces in order to change functional/optical properties

-         Production of micro components using lasers

-         Production of components for the medical industry.

Considered are the following types of collaboration agreements: commercial agreement, R&D agreement, partial funding agreement depending on the projects to be developed.
