Bussard – Long-Range uncrewed ISR UAS
Business Development Representative at Avilus
Ismaning, Germany
About
Bussard is AVILUS’ fixed-wing uncrewed aircraft developed for long-range intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
With up to 14 hours of endurance, approximately 2,500 km range and a mission payload capacity of up to 142 kg, Bussard is designed for persistent operations over large areas. The aircraft can integrate mission-specific sensor packages including electro-optical/infrared systems, radar and other surveillance or communications payloads.
Its range and endurance enable applications such as maritime surveillance, border monitoring, wide-area reconnaissance, infrastructure monitoring and persistent ISR missions where smaller UAVs are limited by endurance or payload capacity.
Bussard is part of the AVILUS Ranger Class and uses the common RasCore avionics and ground-control architecture, supporting remote and beyond-line-of-sight operations.
