CESIE's mission is to promote innovation in education, participation and community engagement, the growth of territory leading to the empowerment of people.

Through the Migration Unit, CESIE promotes Diversity, Inclusion, & Social Equity.

Diversity - attributes that make people unique, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, age, socioeconomic class, abilities, educational background, religion, national origin, and political beliefs.

Inclusion  - the act of supporting all groups of people within a society, recognizing their value and importance, and helping them achieve their full potential.

Social Justice – the promotion of fairness to access livelihood, education, and full participation in the political and cultural life of the community as well as self-determination in meeting fundamental needs.

CESIE is an active member of COREMH-Network and Consortium on Refugees’ and Migrants’ Mental Health.
