About

IRD Duhallow Clg is seeking a partner on this project who is also covering a rural region in another EU country. Local development companies using the grass roots bottom up approach to community development play an instrumental role in the integration and inclusion of Ukrainian refugees in their regions. The SMART villages concept in rural Europe will also be utilised in this project. Addressing cultural differences, poor transport, housing issues and employment opportunities will form part of the project as well as developing the voluntary contribution that this new community can make to rural communities.
