About me
Dr. Mohammad Mamun is a Senior Research Officer with the cybersecurity team at DTRC. He is also serving as an adjunct professor at UNB and Uwindsor. Having earned an MS degree in Information and Communication System Security from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden, Mamun obtained his doctorate from the Japan Advanced Institute of Technology (JAIST) in 2014 with the Outstanding Performance Award. Prior to joining NRC, Mamun held several R&D positions, including as a Research Associate at CIC-UNB, Mamun received the NRC Rising Star Award and was promoted to IEEE Senior member. He is currently leading several NRC G&C projects and is the author of more than 55 cybersecurity-related articles, including a patent on cybersecurity risk assessment. His research interests are human-centric cybersecurity, entity behavioural fingerprinting, insider threat detection, Blockchain, IoT security and privacy.
