About
A Swedish SME, specializing in cutting-edge solutions for optimizing weather forecasts in cold and Arctic environments, is actively looking for international collaboration partners for joint applications within EU-funded research and innovation programmes. The company has extensive experience in high-precision modeling and analytical tools to enhance forecasting accuracy, particularly adapted for extreme temperature conditions.
The company develops highly specialized forecasting models optimized for extreme weather conditions, where traditional models often fail to deliver reliable data. Accurate weather forecasts are used to optimize energy usage (e.g. in heating, snow removal, and transport systems), reducing costs and emissions for municipalities and industries.
The SME has strong, ongoing collaborations with leading Swedish academic institutions, including Luleå University of Technology and the University of Gothenburg, providing access to state-of-the-art research, technical expertise, and established innovation networks.
The company is now seeking partners for:
- Partially developed EU proposals where the consortium would benefit from expertise in weather modeling, climate analytics, data science, sensor integration, or applied AI.
- Existing consortia in the planning or implementation phase, where their specialized knowledge could add significant value.
- New EU calls focused on climate resilience, environmental monitoring, Arctic research, energy optimization, smart infrastructure, or adaptation strategies in cold regions.
- The SME is open to participation in both research and innovation actions, as well as collaborations with industrial partners, academia, and public sector stakeholders.
Sought partners include:
Research institutes and universities
Technology and software companies in the climate tech space
Public authorities or municipalities operating in cold or Arctic environments
Consortia applying to Horizon Europe and other relevant EU funding scheme
