Center For Advanced Medical Technology

The Center for Advanced Medical Technology (CAMTech) at the University of Pécs is a nationally recognized hub for innovation in health technology, serving as a key driver of interdisciplinary research and industrial collaboration in Central Europe. Established to bridge the gap between medical science and engineering, CAMTech focuses on the development, implementation, and dissemination of next-generation medical technologies, including simulation-based education, surgical innovation, biomedical engineering, and 3D printing.

In 2024, CAMTech was awarded the prestigious “Excellent Research Infrastructure” title by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office (NKFIH), affirming its leadership in scientific and translational research infrastructure across Hungary.
