Unravel Health

Unravel Health gives women objective hormone data at home. Our device is a reusable, palm-sized reader paired with single-use microfluidic cartridges: deposit a saliva sample, get quantified hormone levels in minutes. No blood draw, no clinic, no waiting on a lab.

The technology

A CMOS biosensor does the measuring, which is what shrinks a lab-grade assay to something that sits on a bathroom shelf at a price a consumer will pay. The cartridge handles sample prep and the assay chemistry; the reader is kept and reused, so the running cost per measurement is the cartridge alone. That economics is what makes repeat testing viable.

Why perimenopause first

Perimenopause lasts years and is defined by hormonal variability, yet most women navigate it on symptom guesswork. A single reading tells you little. The value is in the curve: repeat measurements across weeks and cycles, showing what is actually happening rather than what a one-off test caught on one day. Longitudinal data turns hormone measurement from a test into a management tool, for the woman and for her clinician.

The same platform extends to fertility, cycle health and endocrine monitoring, each needing a different cartridge rather than a different device.

What we are looking for in Singapore

A partner to co-develop and validate the platform for Asian markets. Strongest fits:

• Microfluidic cartridge design and manufacture at volume

• Biosensor, assay or surface chemistry development

• Clinical validation against reference hormone methods, including data on Asian cohorts

• Digital or consumer health companies with a route to women's health customers in Southeast Asia

We are a UK-registered company and would lead the UK side of a joint application to Innovate UK, with our Singapore partner applying to Enterprise Singapore.
