My organisation

The Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC) Foundation, established as a Section 8 company on February 18, 2022, is a flagship initiative led by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, guided by the Prime Minister’s Science, Technology, and Innovation Advisory Council (PM-STIAC). The mission is to create seamless connections among research institutions, academia, industry partners, startups, and various stakeholders, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange within a Hub & Spoke Model.  BCKIC Foundation aims to address regional and global challenges through consortium-style collaborations, leveraging the complementary strengths of all stakeholders and harnessing the best available expertise and technical know-how through a unified platform. Operating under a formal umbrella structure while preserving internal autonomy, BCKIC Foundation creates a shared ecosystem that promotes collaboration among stakeholders for innovation, technology development, and deployment. Additionally, BCKIC Foundation is part of a network of seven S&T Clusters in Bhubaneswar, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Jodhpur, Pune, and Northern Region serving as global technology hubs that facilitate the entire spectrum from technology development to the commercialization of solutions, contributing to the growth of the social economy and livelihood generation.
