About me
I am a dedicated biomedical researcher specializing in tissue engineering and 3D bioprinting, with a strong focus on the development of advanced biomaterials for regenerative medicine. I have recently submitted my doctoral thesis titled “Development of three-dimensional printed complex biological geometries for biomedical applications” at the School of Biomedical Engineering, IIT (BHU) Varanasi, under the mentorship of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Mahto.
My Ph.D. work centers on optimizing extrusion-based 3D printing using alkali-dissolved chitosan, crosslinked with water, for fabricating biologically relevant structures and its in vitro and in vivo characterization.
I am working as a research associate at LV Prasad Eye Institute. My project is to develop human limbus stem cell-laden bioprinted corneas for tissue engineering applications.
I have published multiple first-author research papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented my findings at national and international conferences, including ARVO 2025 in Utah, USA, and secured prestigious young researcher award, best poster award, and travel grants such as the DBT-CTEP award. Her interdisciplinary expertise spans natural and synthetic biomaterials, stem-cell-based scaffolds, and in vivo implant studies.
I am now actively seeking postdoctoral opportunities across Europe and the UK, aiming to contribute to translational research at the intersection of bioprinting, biomaterials, and tissue engineering.
