Murali Kumarasamy

My name is Murali Kumarasamy, Assistant Professor / Mentor at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hajipur. Since joining NIPER, Hajipur in 2021, working on developing 3D brain-region-specific cellular models of neurodegenerative diseases. We are interested in developing individualized approaches and bottom-up and top-down approaches to biofabricate multi-cellular, self-organizing physiological components in vitro and in vivo into animals. I grew up in the southern part of India and my early interest was in chemistry. However, I encounter with my mother's little tremor when she held something, switched my interests towards the biology of neurodegenerative disorders.
