DEBASHREE DEBASMITA

As a nanobiotechnologist, I am well versed with the synthesis of nanomaterials and their characterization studies followed by their applications in various fields (cancer therapeutics, biofilm eradication). I have been working as an institutional operator of confocal laser scanning microscope (Zeiss LSM 880) from August 2018 to May 2023 strengthening my research skills of tracking the drug delivery systems and staining and imaging of the treated entities. During my PhD tenure nanomaterial synthesis and characterization,cell culture and related techniques, microbiology techniques, confocal microscopy, have been my strengths. Apart from my experience during PhD tenure, I have worked as a PDF at IITH on biomaterial and tissue engineering especially with respect to burn wound. Also, I have worked as a summer trainee at CCMB, Hyderabad, India and as a senior research fellow at ICAR-CIFA, Bhubaneswar, India. Further my teaching experience as a part of my B.Ed degree adds up to my overall skill and personality. I have a tremendous interest in teaching and I qualified for the CTET in 2013.
