Scaling circular Initiatives (EN), examples for Industrial Packaging

Willemijn Peeters and Jolien Stevels will share their experiences with circular scale-up projects. They will provide insights into initiatives such as the Ocean Bag (moonshot project by the Versnellingshuis, Searious Business, LC Packaging, Borealis, Procter & Gamble) and Skills, Closing the Loop Industrial LLDPE Stretch Film (by Trioworld, Broeckx Recycling, Grolsch, and NTCP).

This session highlights two pioneering approaches to scaling circular solutions in industrial packaging.

• Searious Business (OCEANBAG) – Why reuse is the game-changer in plastic circularity.

• Trioworld (SKILLS) – Closing the loop on industrial LLDPE stretch film, focusing on a chain with post-consumer recycled content.

Participants will gain insights into different strategies to meet PPWR objectives for transport packaging, focusing on both reuse and recycling. The speakers will share practical experiences, including challenges, barriers to scale-up, and key learnings from innovation milestones and value-chain collaborations.
