Over
Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is a premier Dutch institution known for its strong focus on engineering and applied sciences, as well as its commitment to driving innovation and impactful industry collaborations. At TU/e, we place a high priority on sustainability, especially in the field of plastic waste recycling. Within the Sustainable Process Engineering Group, we are advancing plastic pyrolysis technology to transform post-use plastics into valuable chemicals. The key agenda is to make use of renewable electricity in such a conversion process. Our team is equipped with advanced tools to measure yields of gas and liquid products from plastic pyrolysis and to perform detailed chemical analyses. We have already developed a lab-scale reactor, capable of testing small samples of post-use plastics, and we’re eager to push this technology further. We are actively seeking passionate collaborators who are interested in developing innovative plastic-to-monomer recycling solutions and making plastics fully circular in the Netherlands. If you're excited about driving change in plastic recycling, we’d love to hear from you!
