Tool Design & Manufacturing

Rodex Mechatronics has a dedicated team with extensive experience in tool design and manufacturing. Among others, we specialise in plastic injection tools for overmoulding of metal elements and manufacturing of complex tools (multiple thread tools, multiple plates tools, latch lock tools, stack tools, offset with double slider).

We offer prototype and serial tools with the help of advanced design & visualisation software. Testing and calibrated measurements are done in-house, along with quality measurement reports. Control of each manufacturing process step allows us to provide optimal samples in the tool’s first trial test.

Plastic Injection Moulding

Rodex Mechatronics is your one-stop shop for the plastic parts you need. You are in safe hands with a careful feasibility study, DFM analysis, mould flow analysis, tool design, tool manufacturing, prototyping, process parameters definition, and serial production. We offer classic injection moulding, overmoulding of different metal inserts, and 2K injection moulding, depending on your project needs.

Our processes are tightly controlled at all times to maintain the quality of the final parts. We use modern machines to inject technical thermoplastics and ensure top quality in a controlled production process. Our machine park includes machines with a clamping force from 28 to 160 tons. Peripheral technology, such as robots, picking machines, and conveyor belts, is used to secure adequate quality.

Actuators & Coil Winding

We are experts in magnetic, sensor windings, toroid coils, chokes, and other special windings for all industries where electromechanical, electromagnetic, and electronic based applications are required. Our components are used in measuring, checking, sorting, conducting, and moving, be it in payment systems, printers, automatic doors, smart home, automotive, metering and medical devices.

Assembly

We develop the assembly process depending on production volume and project requirements. All required quality aspects are included in careful process planning. Among our specialties are small coils with very thin winding wire (0,035 mm) and special windings (toroids, multiple windings – bifilar windings). In-house manufactured or purchased components are inputs for the assembly process of complex subassemblies and final products. Adequate assembly technologies (app. 50 different technologies) are chosen for optimal production flow. Our responsibility also includes standard and project-specific documentation, final tests, commissioning preparation, packaging, and delivery.
