About Matre

Matre is a Norwegian designer and manufacturer of high-quality fire suppression equipment and systems for demanding, safety-critical applications.

Since 1953, we have built our position on engineering competence, quality, reliability and long-term performance. Today, Matre equipment is installed worldwide across maritime, offshore, energy and naval applications.

We develop, manufacture, test, supply and support our equipment throughout its lifecycle. Our portfolio ranges from critical components to complete modular fire suppression packages, including foam proportioning equipment, nozzles, pumps and turbine-driven solutions, helideck fire protection, dual-agent systems and standardized skid-based packages.

Design, engineering, manufacturing and testing competence are closely integrated within Matre. This gives us control over product performance and enables us to continuously turn operational experience into mature, standardized and well-proven solutions.
